These photos were taken along the Mount Stilwell and Illawong Walks on Monero Ngarigo Country in Tidbillaga (Snowy Mountains). Travelling past the fragile sclerophyll forests and sub-alpine woodland known as Burrungubudgee (Hunting and Gathering grounds) and the sacred grounds of the tall alpine herbfields called Irranba (Spiritual Herb Country). The herbs which grow in the alpine zone, above 1850m, were considered to have particular spiritual and healing properties.
